Key Features of Elementor

1. Front End Page Builder

Have you ever used a back-end page builder? It is so slow and tedious and doesn’t let us instantly see what the changes look like.

With Elementor’s front-end editing capabilities, any change we make can be seen in real-time on the screen.

Front-end page builders are so much more user-friendly and efficient than back-end page builders.

Elementor is a game-changing front-end editor that lets you make real-time changes to your site.

Whether tweaking or adding buttons, Elementor allows for immediate feedback so designers can see the results immediately and spend their time more efficiently.

The interface of Elementor, a front-end page builder for WordPress sites.

The sleek design makes it easier to manage your site on the backend without any coding skills. It’s so easy.

You can add an all-important CTA button in seconds that will engage with readers through social media or email as they scroll down your blog post.

Drag and drop modules to build your website with ease:

You’ll see a list of modules that you may need to add to your side. For example, heading, image, text editor, video, button that you see in the picture below.

All you have to do is literally drag a module onto the screen, edit it just how you like, and then repeat that process over again until all desired content has been added into place.

2. Templates and Blocks

  • (a) Page Templates

Page templates of elementor are a huge time saver because they’ll help you create any page with just a few clicks

There are so many different types of page templates available in Elementor.

From landing pages for tech brands to eCommerce product catalogs and portfolio websites.

The possibilities truly are almost endless with these handy tools that come free in any web design software package worth its salt.

Whether you need something quick or have been planning your site meticulously for months on end, this is one toolbox addition that can be used by everyone who needs an online presence without hassle or fuss.

Templates are available in a variety of styles and layouts for any type of project.

Simply open the folder icon at the bottom to see them all displayed conveniently, then hover over the one you’d like to use and click “Insert.”

You’ll be able to edit this template without starting from scratch.

The best part about these templates is that they’re fully customizable.

For instance, with a few clicks, you can change the width to accommodate any screen size.

(b) Blocks

Blocks provide dynamic templates for adding specific content to your pages in a quick and easy manner.

There are blocks specifically designed for diverse sections like About Us, call-to-actions, testimonials, FAQs, or a list of features. The choice is yours.

You can make your website more interesting, creative, and engaging by adding blocks.

Click Folder Icon to add block as shown in the image below.

If you’re looking for a specific type of block just click the “Category” dropdown list and select it from the available categories to find what you need.

Once you’ve finished laying out your page, click the arrow on the green “Publish” button and select “Save as Template.”

A new window will pop up where you can name your template. Type in a title for it (e.g., My Blog Posts) then hit save!

When you need a template, click the Folder icon in your browser and select “My Templates.” Keep clicking until you find one that suits you.

3. Mobile-Friendly

As we know, today, more website visitors use their mobile devices to access the Internet.

It’s now important that websites should also be optimized for both mobile and tablet as these users feel good on a small screen. Otherwise, you might lose many potential visitors.

In Elementor’s Website Builder you can customize your site as much as you want – but once you start adding in margins and paddings, ensure that nothing falls apart when viewed from a phone.

You can quickly do this by clicking the desktop icon beside the publish button and selecting “Mobile” or “Tablet.”

See the bottom left corner of the picture below. This will allow you to optimize your blog posts for these devices.

4. In-Line Text Editing

Elementor gives you many customizable options for texts, including changing font family, enabling text shadows and drop caps.

These are all handled through the Elementor editor itself so it’s super simple to edit your content.

5. Works With Any WordPress Theme

Elementor is a drag-and-drop content builder for WordPress that makes it so you don’t have to be an expert in code.

It’s compatible with any theme, but there are four themes people generally agree on as the most Elementor friendly. They are:

  • Generate Press
  • Astra
  • Ocean WP and
  • Page Builder Framework Theme.

All these themes come with free and paid versions, making them accessible no matter your budget or skillset.

Elementor: Pricing and Licensing Scheme

If you are a small business looking for an affordable, all-inclusive website builder that can handle your company’s needs then the Elementor PRO package is a perfect choice.

The three packages offer the same features and pricing but differ on how many websites they allow to be created.

The three plans are Personal,  Plus, and Expert.

If you’re a small bakery business owner and you want to create your own website, the personal package should do.

But if web design is more than just a hobby for you or something that pays in time off rather than money then consider upgrading to expert.

Elementor Pro’s licensing and support is confusing, but once you understand it all it really isn’t that complicated.

Once you’ve decided not to renew your license, there are a number of features and benefits that will be gone.

You may not be able to enjoy future updates, support services from the Elementor Pro team, and pro-templates.

However! You can still use all modules as well as theme builder aspects like popups or widgets.

Membership has its privileges. The 25% renewal discount for active members.

There’s also a 30-day money-back guarantee to ensure that your purchases are always worth it with Elementor.

If you’re a beginner, you may like the free version which is sufficient enough to build your website perfectly.

What you’ll get on PRO Version?

If you’re just starting out with Elementor, the free version has a lot of great features that will suffice your needs.

However, if you want to take it up a notch and start making more complex websites or ones that require some special functionality, then I would suggest upgrading to PRO as soon as possible.

Check out the following benefits. They might be the reasons why you may want to upgrade to the pro version.

1. Customize your theme with the Pro version of Elementor.

The Pro version lets you go beyond tweaking a theme’s colors and fonts to completely redesign your site.

You have complete control over everything from accenting sidebars or giving special focus on certain portions of text by changing their size or color scheme all while maintaining an attractive design.

The Pro version lets you customize every aspect of your website. This includes headers, footers, archives, and search results pages.

These are usually off-limits to editing because they require coding knowledge that’s too complicated for most people.

The Elementor Pro version is awesome because it lets you create your own:

  • Headers,
  • Footers
  • Archive pages
  • 404 page
  • Search results page and
  • Single blog posts (create a template for different categories and use them)

2. Additional modules will ease your life.

Elementor Pro has an enormous variety of modules, from essential forms to complex pricing tables.

There are also grid blog posts and price lists that can be created with a few clicks!

Some of the features that will help you create your website quickly with elementor pro are:

  • Forms.
  • Form integration
  • Grid blog post
  • Price list
  • Pricing tables
  • Flip box
  • Countdown
  • Woo-commerce features
  • Blockquote
  • Media carousel
  • Share buttons, and more.

So, Elementor Pro is truly the ultimate website builder for marketers who want unlimited creativity in their web design without any coding knowledge required.

3. Get accessibility to pro templates and blocks.

Building a website doesn’t have to be boring.

Elementor Pro offers more professionally-made templates and blocks that will help you create stunning websites in no time, featuring animated headlines, slides, gorgeous-looking forms.

Again, all of these features are easy for beginners. The struggle is real for web developers and content creators alike.

Sometimes clients go in, change things up, mess with your website design or modules without asking you first; which can take a lot of time to undo that damage.

To keep these changes from happening again it’s important not only do you have the freedom to restrict what people can but also know when they’re doing so.

With this package deal on their site, they grant all users access level permissions allowing you control over who has full editing privileges as well as determining how many articles one user may post at once.

4. Elementor’s Role Manager

So how do you make sure that your website is taken care of by the right team?

To change what each role can edit, click on “Elementor” and then select “Role Manager.”

You can make a role as powerful or powerless as you want, giving them full editing privileges to the website’s content or restricting their access to nothing.

For each person on your team, you get three options for what permissions they have:

  • Give them all of the power and let every decision be theirs alone;
  • Limit their powers so only some decisions are in their hands;
  • Take away any power from this particular individual entirely- no matter how much it confuses anyone else.

5. You can get access to pro updates and 24/7 support.

The Elementor team is constantly updating its software to fix problems and add new features.

Only Pro subscribers can enjoy their 24/7 support. But, the benefit is huge as it can save invaluable time and money.

You no longer need to go through the troubleshooting process on your own in order to find a solution.

They also have a comprehensive knowledge base on their website for every user.

Thus, it makes finding solutions much easier if you’re unable or unwilling to contact them directly about your individual problem.

6. Marketing becomes easier with Elementor Pro integrations.

As an entrepreneur, it’s important to get access to new tools and features that will make your business even more successful.

Integrating with other apps such as MailChimp, HubSpot, AWeber, and GetResponse can help you create a seamless marketing strategy for the success of your website and all aspects of your company.

These apps will help you build and grow your email list significantly. They will also increase engagement rates even without leaving the Elementor interface.

What I Like Most About Elementor!

I have never been a fan of website design, but Elementor has quickly changed that.

It is so easy to use and I love how easily one can create a new post or page within minutes.

Elementor is the editor you never knew how easy it could be to create a website.

With their user-friendly interface, you can drag and drop your way through designing an amazing site in only minutes.

They even offer tutorials for beginners as well as comprehensive FAQs which are available whether or not they’re paid members of Elementor’s service.

With the Elementor community, you’ll always have a helping hand when designing your next page or website.

You can join them on Facebook and GitHub for new tips from other designers as well.

What I Don’t Like About Elementor!

I felt like the templates and blocks on Elementor are overwhelming.

They display the free and Pro options together, rather than separating them which makes it hard for users to find what they need in a timely manner.

The Elementor team is always striving to make the application better and more stable with every update.

Unfortunately, sometimes a user can’t use their builder after upgrading because of some incompatibilities with third-party plugins or other hosting issues in general.

Luckily, this isn’t often the case and is not caused by Elementor itself. That’s why you should take note of what has changed when updating your version.

It might be that there was an issue that makes it unusable for now until things are fixed.

Final Thoughts

You might have noticed that there are so many WordPress page builders but, Elementor will give you the best experience you’ve ever had.

Not only does it let you create gorgeous websites in minutes, but it also manages to stay on top of website performance as well.

If you want to create a website without any coding knowledge then Elementor is perfect for you.

In case you feel like the free version doesn’t have enough features, upgrade to pro and get more premium options.

You can also start with Pro but downgrade later on if your needs change.

Elementor is a powerful freemium WordPress page builder that does its job and lets you run wild with your imaginations without learning how to write code.

This enables anyone, regardless of their level of coding or design knowledge, the ability to build pages for any website needs in just minutes.
